Who are your favorite Playboy cartoonists, JB?•• Sneyd, Cole, and above all Sokol. I'd pay real money to get a Sokol original.

I've got two new pieces. I ordered the first two issues of The Possum comic book from Blair Kitchen's website and they came in the mail today, and he included these two sketches:
(For some reason, this one came out a little bit blurrier than I thought it would when I shrunk the image so I could post it)

On the first picture, I'm guessing he either saw some of my posts
during the whole Michael Golden debacle (I posted at 2 other boards
besides this one under my real name) and recognized the name, or its
just a coincidence.
(There's also an illo of the Possum on the packaging, and he also added a handwritten note explaining he added a free copy of his brother's comic with a picture of the Possum's head drawn on it, but I haven't decided if I'm going to bother scanning those or not)

I haven't figured out which is giving me trouble, my scanner or my computer. But it has been slowing down the process of showing off all the stuff I bought in Chicago.
I contacted Whilce Portacio's wife, Joann, a few weeks before the con to see if he would do a piece for me at the show. She was super nice to work with and this is what I ended up getting.
He told me he was very excited about doing the piece because he hadn't drawn Storm since he left the X-Men.

I haven't seen a Sokol on Ebay myself -- but I've heard they have shown up on the site. My grail is a Cole -- but I do understand wanting to own a Sokol!...

I'm about to head off to work, and I just got my scanner back up and running. Here is my J. Scott Campbell sketch I procured at Wizard World Chicago.
