When the piece arrives, please fill us in on how the rain was done.••• Why wait? That's Ye Olde Fashioned razor scratching. A traditional standby for rain.

The page was inked by someone else so I still wonder how much of that rain was drawn in pencils and how, before the inker used the final rain effect seen on the page.

Joe, how can you beat getting the info from the man who did it! The comments of razor scrathing was talked about in my Galactus thread (John does not use it on commissons) so again one of the reasons of getting the page was to see what it looks like. Thanks John.

I still wonder how much of that rain was drawn in pencils…••• The pencils for the storm clouds and rain would have looked something like THIS. Using the razor technique was the inker's choice.

Great pages guys. I look forward to seeing the finished McLeod.
Was it Keith Williams who inked the She-Hulk page? I don't recall.

Just picked this up:
Not necessarily what Marshall Rogers was best known for, but it has the
Beefeater in action as well as spot-on characterization of John Cleese (as a
superhero) and Prunella Scales.

Here are two original Dan DeCarlo Josie and the Pussycat pieces I just received, the top version dated July 18, 1969. I love the light pencil marks, white out, small bends from handling, and the simplicity of the lines with these pieces!
