Love the Inhumans. Was hoping that they would reprint those untold origins of the Inhumans that appeared in Thor in the Essential format. Didn't happen. Was really looking forward to seeing Kirby's work on them especially in b/w.
I know they were reprinted sometime. I think the last time they were was in a run of Marvel Tales. Looking for them to read.

I didn't like how the mutant-country of Genosha in the X-Men made the Inhumans seem less special in the Marvel setting.
****
Luckily Genosha is gone so you don't have to worry about it anymore.

Blackagon Boltagon is my favorite Inhuman by a land slide. I have enjoyed almost all the incarnations you guys have posted ( Byrne, Gil Kane, Adams, Kirby of course). I really was impressed with Jae lee's interpretation in the 12 issue mini series from a few years ago. I was fortunate to get my copies signed by Paul Jenkins ( I have Jae on issue one). He does a amazing Triton.

I'd have to say Lee & Kirby. Those intial FF issues where The Inhumans first show up are just more fun than anything has a right to be.
My favourite Inhuman? Triton! I'm seriously thinking about getting the Bowen mini-bust. I always thought Jack Kirby intended for Triton to be noble - just a personal interpretation - and this aspect of him appealed to me. Also, he could breathe underwater, but was somehow more likeable (to me) than Namor. In my book, you can't have too many 'underwater' characters.

I also really enjoyed Jae Lee's interpretation of the Inhumans. My favorites were Crystal and Gorgon.
Can anyone differentiate to me what the drifferences were supposed to be between the Eternals and the Inhumans. They seem somewhat interchangable except for the fact that the Inhumans showed up quite a bit more.

I enjoyed Perez' run on the book. I read a friend's copies
growing up. I'll have to pick them up myself some year. I'd post an
image, but I haven't found any from his run yet.
As far as favorites go, I like Medusa. I'm infatuated with attractive redheads.

I really, really enjoyed that Inhumans miniseries with the Jae Lee art. I never read the second Inhumans miniseries or the ongoing - any good?

Another vote for Jae Lee. After the huge disappointment of his Namor, this series looked like he'd been through the Terrigen mists himself.
Me? Fanboy?
IMP.

Pablo - The Eternals were genetically engineered by The Celestials, so that they could manipulate energy in such a way as to be effectively immortal and...well, godlike.
The Inhumans are mortal (though some are long-lived by our standards), and were brought into existance by The Kree who experimented on early humans. Wheras all the Eternals have the same type of power (they just use it in differing ways), The Inhumans each have unique abilities brought about by their exposure in infancy to The Terrigen Mists.
Both groups were isolationists (The Inhumans more so than The Eternals), so they only had minimal contact with the rest of 'mainstream' humanity, who thought of them as either demons or gods.
edited for rampant silliness on my part!

Out of curiosity, did the Inhumans call themselves Inhumans, or did Reed Richards call them Inhumans? Where did the name start?
