Very very nice! A big Thanks to JB to let us see a new commission from start to finish.

I usually stop my drawings at step 16 or 17. (never satisfied with my inking...)

Wow...that's an excellent insight John. Thank you for the over-the-shoulder look at the process.

Y'know, given the world we live in, it occurs to me I
will now have to keep a watchful eye open for people
selling George's animation as if it's some
"official" release from me.

sigh

You can't see the tops, so those could still be slippers -- I had a pair like
those with those exact soles a while back.

Although it's not excactly the same, Isn't the 'JB' How to draw comics comic equivelently missleading? Just to show that there's nothing new under the sun.

Funny how when it seemed like every Marvel super hero got a new costume/uniform in the '90s, they left Iron Fist alone.

I think he had a slight change in the 'Heroes for Hire' series.  Someone who knows how to insert an image in their post can help...(meaning: Mot me).

I dont' have an image, but he did have an armored version of his suit that he wore in Ostrander's Heroes For Hire series.

As strange as that book was, I have to say I really loved it at the time.  Pascul Ferry was pretty new on the American comics scene.  He and Ostrander brought a loto f quirky energy to a group of B-level heroes.  I wish the series had been collected in some form.

Also, the new Iron Fist series is being co-written by one of my favorite new writers - Matt Fraction.  He has an Image series called Casanova that's just incredible.  I'm excited to see what he does with Iron Fist.

No, they changed it once or twice.  Didn't stick, though.
