JB, that is incredible. Seeing the work in progress just brought a HUGE smile to my face! I'm just impressed by the fact that you routinely go to so much trouble to not only entertain us with your work, but give us these kinds of insights into your method of working.

Cool drawing, too, by the way! You've really captured the sense of motion in all the figures in one 'frozen' moment. Just magnificent!

A fascinating glimpse into the process.  I know that a lot of people here are artists, but I'm not, so it's always interesting to me to learn about the "nuts and bolts" stages that go into creating these images.

And George, thanks for the animation.  I'll be sending that link to quite a few people who will love it as much as I did.

I consider myself an artist, but even so it's still a treat to see someone like JB show us things like this.  You're never too old to learn, and today I learned something.  That's a great feeling.

I've already shared the animation George made of JB's work in progress with others. It got nothing but compliments. I know we probably won't see anything like this in the future but I'm glad you took the time to post this JB.

It's funny how the Wrecker is the only one unconscious in this image. He used to go toe-to-toe against Thor before he had a Crew!

I just saw the first page with all the steps and the progression is just amazing !

Thank you so much, that's a nice lesson and a great gift. What a sneak peek behind the scene!

John,
Have you ever had the need to strap yourself in with those belts on your chair?

BTW - great work of art! Nothing better than shooting a scene from an alternate angle and making it look better than the original - - -

Thanks, JB. As a fan of yours for around 30 years now (yikes) it is interesting to see your work progression. And I am proud to say I wasn't one of the 25. But probably only because I wasn't home at the time.
