Count me as a big Starlin fan as well.  I've loved his stuff since discovering it in 1977 with these two comics, still favorites of mine:

And he's still doing great work.  The aforementioned MYSTERY IN SPACE and a title I hope he comes back to, COSMIC GUARD (2004):

Hello Fabrice,

I arrived at about 3:15 pm and I waited till 19 hours to obtain a
sketch … Of a distant nature, I have prefered to listen the
people in my corner ! We shall meet the next time. I join you a
photo, you recognize me?

Bruno.

I am a big fan of Jim Starlin's. That he has created a character named Thanos has had no effect whatsoever on my affection....

Matt, Starlin is putting out a sequel to Cosmic Guard in the form of a graphic novel called Kid Kosmos. It is supposed to come out sometime in October. I talked to him about it at this years Chicago con. He said he is more pleased with the art and story direction of this GN than he was of the original mini-series. Which is great to hear since I thought the mini-series was really good!

This was the first Starlin comic I remember buying.

For those of you fans of Starlin here are two sketches I was lucky enough to get from the man at a couple different Chicago Cons.

I'm still hoping for a conclusion to 'Breed...

But my first Starlin -

Reprints the conclusion to the Magus story with the first half of "A Trollish Tale" tossed in.  One of my favorite Starlin covers and probably my all time favorite Starlin story.  Can't say I didn't start strong...

Bruno,

I was there at 14:40. Therefore I was before you. One of the person I spoke with is a collaborator for the Kirby Collector magazine, and another one brought his "Spider-Man" #1 to show the shop's owner. I don't recognize you unfortunately.

As you said, we shall meet sometime.

F.

Hey, everyone loves Jim Starlin!

Another guy waiting for a conclusion to 'Breed. I hope it comes soon (and brings the Next Men finale with it...).

I have had the pleasure of seeing the original to that CM #29 cover in person
a number of times and it is a sight to behold. One of his best covers.

edited to insert link......

The owner has posted it online:

Wow, that's cool Bruno! I believe that's the only fan portrait I've ever seen by JB.

Thanks for sharing.
