Thanks, Sean; I appreciate the picture. Not the best-looking costume, but I liked the concept of the character as Germany's equivalent to Captain America.
And sorry to all those Hauptmann Deutschland fans for misspelling his name so badly. In my defense, the only German I ever learned came from reading Roy Thomas!

Some I don't recall being mentioned or pictured:
The Patriot...
Patriot II...
Battlestar (the new Bucky to John Walker's Captain America)...
American Dream (from the MC2 line, Steve Rogers & Sharon Carter's
daughter?)...
Revolutionary War Era Captain America...
Free Spirit (Gruenwald's Captain America trainee)...
Jack Flag (Gruenwald's other Captain America trainee)...
The Spirit of '76...
Union Jack (that perfect costume from across the pond)...
And, as mentioned above, you can't have all these patriots running
around without the anarchist who hates flags... Flag Smasher:

Captain Newfoundland.
Captain Canada.
Japan.
Mademoiselle.
All from the "Captain Newfoundland" strips that ran through the
Newfoundland Herald magazine, except the last one that was a painted
back cover for the collected edition.

Where is that WWI Union Jack costume from? In the Invaders comics his costume was the same as in WWII.

Mike, that's John Cassaday artwork so it must be from the UNION JACK
four issue miniseries from about 5 or so years ago.

I scored a copy of "Nick Fury, Agent of... SHIELD" #13 (July, 1969) from a street vendor today. Don't have a scanner to share, but it contains some fun images of the Super-Patriot by Herb Trimpe. The costume is rather busy and over-the-top, but red, white, blue and manic and so effective for the character. Could this have been a Steranko creation?

Sam, here's the pic you probably wanted to display:
Even credits Trimpe in the panel!

Nah -- that Super-Patriot isn't a Steranko; presumably, Trimpe did the design.
There was another Liberty Belle -- a one-shot back-up in Charlton's E-MAN. As I recall, the company had great hopes for her, including a spin-off solo title, but she seems to have been doomed from the start. She went through two artists before seeing print -- a young Mike Vosburg first, and then "the Dan Adkins studio."
