The fact that it might have appeared without your
discovery is implicit in the question, I would imagine.

This from someone who questions the meaning of
the word "stolen"? Please.

Don't bore us by trying to turn anything and everything
into an argument. You are boring us quite well
enough with the "ammunition" you have.

Where is the argument here? "has the page ever resurfaced at a convention or online?"

The one turning this into an argument is quite clearly you.

Now we're turning this into "The Argument Sketch".

Look up the word. Don't come back until you have.

So, in other words, yes, the Internet has ruined comics.

In the case of this thread...nahh, any such "points" aren't worth posting.

So, in other words, yes, the Internet has ruined comics.

John Byrne: "Now we're turning this into "The Argument Sketch".

Well, it's a good sketch.

I'm going to assume that the art in question never surfaced. I'm sorry to hear about that, I think it's a terrible crime. And to have it taken out of the office makes it even worse. You'd think the people who had access to it would be the last ones to do something so disrespectful.

While technically a price can be put upon art, I tend to think of it as priceless. If you had needed to reproduce the image from scratch, it's not going to be the same image. There will always be variations. Again, sorry to hear about that. It was mentioned that other artwork went missing during this era. Did you lose any more this way?

Didn't JB and others have art stolen from Marvel a few years back? I thought  some pages of Marvel: Lost Generation were taken and eventually recovered.

Actually, the last several hours has simply been you avoiding answering an unrelated question. Did the She-Hulk artwork in question ever appear at a convention or online?

Oh good god!  You're not serious, are you?  Listen, I've stayed out of this fracas because I've been involved in quite a few of these regarding this very topic over the last six years or so.  I've read what you've had to write, L, and what started off as a question you sought to have answered has now ballooned into what you write above.  Is it really all that important whether or not John answers that question?  Really?  I mean, in the grand scheme of things, is his not answering that question some sort of insight into his character or perhaps, like many people I know (including myself), he just didn't feel like answering it or ::gasp!:: doesn't have an answer.  Would that be so bad?  Really?  Why hound him on it?  I mean, seriously, why?  Of what possible importance could the answer hold?  Listen, you may have come here with the most innocent of intents, but it reads more and more like you're enjoying the banter, the oneupmanship, the parlay of words to such a degree that you'll get stuck on something as silly as the above in an attempt to "prove" in your mind whether or not when JB said "stolen" he really meant "stolen".  That's about the biggest time waster I can think of and, to be quite frank, only lends credence to the notion that you'd rather verbally spar with the members on this board than take an answer given at face value.  Sorry if I'm "reading you" the wrong way, but that's certainly the way you're coming off to me.

I agree what does the She Hulk pages have to do with Pad's story or not. Sorry Walker...but you aren't here to cross the witness and I can safey safe you wearing out your welcome. If you have something real to say and not leading or confrontational...why are you here at all ?

And I want to state again...what business is it of any of us if either one of them is lying ? It really is between JB and PAD.
