And talking about claws…

JB, a question I have in mind since the first time I saw Jackman extending its claws on Xmen 1…

What do you think of it?

I am most familiar with the claws coming off the reverse of the palm; I know, I know, there is not an animal precedent of it. But then again, Animals don’t extend their claws from it between their fingers either…

I like it best when its claws were on top of his hand giving him more freedom to move its fingers. Or maybe it is just that when drawn, a closed fist without anything in between looks way cooler (and tougher). Otherwise (to me) it looks as if he is holding knifes between fingers…

By the way, I will never understand how did they left that scene of the cat liking Wolverine’s claws in Bobby’s parent’s house!!! They moved while the cat licked them!!! Sorry had to say it…

At least with the claws on top of the hand, the carpals and metacarpals are not in the way of the claws like they would be if they came out between the fingers from above the fore arms.

However, if they were located within hollow adamantium replacement-bones like I believe JB wanted Wolverine to have, then they could have been designed to come out between the fingers and hand bones, like the film, no?

Hollow bones…?  I guess that would do the trick…

However… Anatomically speaking, that is precisely were most of our red cells are produced.
