Impressive as always…

And talking about claws…

JB, a question I have in mind since the first time I saw Jackman extending its claws on Xmen 1…

What do you think of it?

I am most familiar with the claws coming off the reverse of the palm; I know, I know, there is not an animal precedent of it. But then again, Animals don’t extend their claws from it between their fingers either…

I like it best when its claws were on top of his hand giving him more freedom to move its fingers. Or maybe it is just that when drawn, a closed fist without anything in between looks way cooler (and tougher). Otherwise (to me) it looks as if he is holding knifes between fingers…

By the way, I will never understand how did they left that scene of the cat liking Wolverine’s claws in Bobby’s parent’s house!!! They moved while the cat licked them!!! Sorry had to say it…

At least with the claws on top of the hand, the carpals and metacarpals are not in the way of the claws like they would be if they came out between the fingers from above the fore arms.

However, if they were located within hollow adamantium replacement-bones like I believe JB wanted Wolverine to have, then they could have been designed to come out between the fingers and hand bones, like the film, no?

Hollow bones…?  I guess that would do the trick…

However… Anatomically speaking, that is precisely were most of our red cells are produced.

I know it is not the only place were we produce them… But a guy that losses blood in such amounts, so frequently; mutant factor and all, needs all the help he can get. I think.

What's odd is that this "simple" image from JB is still better than any cover
I'm seeing shipping this month...

If I was at "Marble comics", I'd take one look at this, realise that if You got
JB back on X-Men, You'd simply have the story & seller of the century on
your hands.. Imagine waiting, & walking into a store & picking up a cover
with THIS on? Anything You've bought in the last year that could make
You THAT excited?!? The last time I had "that feeling" about a comic, like I
was 13 again waiting for the next FF was when JB was producing XMHY..
Don't get me wrong, I love his recent DC stuff, but I'm a "company that
used to exist kid" & always will be...

I understand why that wont happen, & I respect that & totally understand
that, but man those were great great comics! (& even though the FF run is
my all time number 1, there is something very special about "your first
love" & the Uncanny.. was mine..this little punk smacking me in the face)
So THANKS JB, for bringing back memories of my first comic book love &
my first favourite comic book character (now sadly departed)

I need those NEXT MEN books to come out & take my pain away (;

& whatever You do or don't do JB, You're a LEGEND, one of a brilliant few
who have forever changed, & graced the industry, & no amount of rubbish
or trends can change that, or, as my Mum useda say...

"You can cover gold in shit, but it's still gold" (& in relation to a lot of stuff
around these days that are 'trendy' & hot : "You can cover shit in gold, but
it's still shit")

& You sir, like the chocolates that bear the name, are "all gold" (:
