I really like Scott Rowland's idea though it seems to contradict the two-page story.

I look forward to this book more with each post.

Great stuff Adam! Welcome to the board!

It seems that some of my all time fav creators are coming on here (Dixon, Mackie, now Hughes). Any wonder I come here all the time!

I have to concur with Scott Rowland. By having the reward for winning the contest be enhanced strength, durability, flight, as well as the various magical geegaws, you can have your cake and eat it too. You can still have Amazons who are tough but not all able to beat up Superman, a contest in which Diana has to win by the skin of her teeth, and a Wonder Woman with the power level we've come to associate with her.

Or you could just have Diana spend the entire mini as non-powered Cathy Lee Crosby. Either or.

This thread perfectly underscores why this is the single best comics-related forum in the whole damned world.

Adam Hughes, you're gonna fit right in around here.  Welcome aboard, and thanks for your reasoned, eloquent contributions...not to mention those stunning original pages!

Now, if we could just find a way to get Walt Simonson regularly posting here, the internet would be torn asunder.

That IS my favorite U2 song. Stay (Faraway, So Close) would be a very close second, though...

Is asunder and "in half" the same thing?

To tear asunder is to rip apart.

One could stop with two pieces, but where's the fun?

Adam- best of luck on ASWW. I remember when you spent some time at the WildStorm offices working on the Gen13 mini-- it was a blast having you around.
best, Drew

Got it.  I just wanted to make sure.  With the Internet already being broken in half and all, I wasn't sure if there was room to go from there.
