Dave, my sketchbook pages are only slightly larger than 8x10. I know a lot of folks who go bigger thinking the artist will fill the whole page with art. That is not always the case. Just carry one around that is easy for you to carry and not lose. Have fun at the Toronto show and let us see some of your sketches!

Dale, I have two sketchbooks, one is 9X12 and the other is around 8 1/2 X 11 (maybe a little smaller, I'm not sure).

Have fun at your first convention.  Make sure you get there early and head straight for your number choice's table.  Is this the one that the Paradise people are putting on?  Their show last spring was great!  I'm heading out there again in June for their next three day one.

Adam

This is the Annual Fan Expo put on by Hobbystar. They had it the last week of August last year, I couldnt make it because I had just gotten married and my wife informed me that there was no way she was going to a comic book convention with me on our honeymoon, so we went to Antigua instead :)

The Fan Expo has a Comic, SFX, Horror, Anime and Gaming Expo all at the same time.

I'm about to pay for my deluxe pass. I'm gonna haul my nephew with me, he's about 15 so I'll get a regular pass for him. Here's the link http://www.hobbystar.com/ComicConToronto2006/CC_Comic_Home.a sp

Jim Lee is the Guest of Honour and hopefully I can get something from him, also looking forward to meeting the Dodsons, Ethan Van Schiver, David Finch, Ty Templeton, Olivier Coipel, Tom Raney, Mike Mignola, Dale Eaglesham, Sean Chen, Yanick Paquette, Leonard Kirk, Geoff John and Bendis.

I'm happy with the Guest List as I love most of these guys work.

Will have my camera handy, so hopefully plenty pictures

David, thanks I really like it too.  Kalman's gonna be at a local con next month.  I'm definetely hitting him up for another one.

Dale, I can't wait to see some pictures and sketches from the show.  That's an insane guest list.
