Yeah he drew the flashbacks to WWII.  Right now he's on Daredevil and he used to draw Gotham Central.  Really quality artist and very plesant in person.

I'm reading Daredevil in the hardbacks, that's why his name wasn't so familiar to me. I'll see his DD stuff by next year. :-)

Well, I won't spoil anything but I think Daredevil has just been great for the last few years.

Here's a Superman from Ty Templeton I got in Toronto.  He drew it in the "kinda the way Shuster used to."  He also gave me a quick lesson on how to draw Superman's emblem.  That was really neat.

Kalman Andrasofszky whose been doing the covers for the Ion miniseries.  He did something in the Infinite Crisis Secret Files book.  He was giving out sketches when you bought his sketchbook.  I had him do a quick Mr. Terrific.

Kevin Conrad did this Green Lantern for me.  It was just a head sketch but he included the ring because he said otherwise its just a guy in a mask.

Frank Cammuso drew this Captain Marvel for me.  He was nominated for an Eisner for his "Max Hamm,  Fairy Tale Detective" stories.  They're really well done and were printed up to look like the old Golden Books that most American Kids grew up reading.

Here's another one from the Big Applecon.  Dick Giordano was doing sketches for $10.  So after waiting in line for at least an hour while he chatted with fans, and signed as many comics as people brought (and some people brought A LOT of them) I got my Batman sketch.  I asked for a Blue Beetle but he didn't know the character well enough.  This guy was a total class act.  When someone wanted to jump in line to have some original art signed by pleading, "I came all the way from Newark!"  Without missing a beat Dick responded, "I came from Florida, sorry you'll have to wait in line."

I had Steve Ellis (Epic's Crimson Dynamo) draw this Thor.  Its a quick loose sketch.  While he was drawing it he told me and a friend of mine a neat Captain America pitch he made to Marvel involing time travel.

I was cleaning out my bedroom closet and found this piece I had totally forgotten about. It's by Daryl Banks and is about 20x30 in size. It was part of the CBLDF quick sketch auction they were doing for Mid Ohio Con.

That Ty Templeton's Superman sketch is awesome.

He will be at the convention here in Toronto this weekend and now I know what I want him to draw for me :)

Question for all.

What's the dimensions of your sketchbook, I'm gonna go get one in a day or 2
