So many great sketches Paul  And cool pic with you and JB i've counted about 4 different JB sketches, how many do you have all together.

I'll have to look into some of Don Simpson, his art looks great.

James I have only one more JB sketch, it's a Scarlet Witch and it was my first JB sketch. So I'll save it for last when I'm done posting the others. He wasn't always sketching at the cons I saw him at. So I do feel extremely lucky I was able to get the ones I did.

I really am a big fan of Don Simpson's work. Really good cartoonist, with a good sense of humor. You can probably find his Megaton Man or Bizarre Heroes in trade. The last comic he worked on was one of the Bizzarro World trade paperbacks that came out. His art was also featured in Al Frankin's political humor book Lies and the lying liars who tell them.

While it is only cartoon nudity, I cropped this Anton Drek original down, as to not offend anyone.

This one is from a legend in the business who seems to get little fanfare.

Last one for the day. Captain Britain by current Flash artist Ken Lashley. When I asked him to do this sketch he was the artist on Excalibur. During his run the Captain didn't wear his helmet so he had trouble with the design.

Interesting to note the differences between my 13 second Batman and Pauls 19 (35...) second Batman.

Joe, once a man confesses he has done wrong, he shouldn't have to be punished for it any longer. (Murder, rape, and the other biggies being the exception.) The lesson learned from all this is never trust me with your watch. :-)

I have only one Convention sketch and I got it for nothing. Steve Lieber had promised anyone who brought him a copy of Whiteout to sign at conventions that year he would give them a little sketch under his signature. I was a retailer at the time and saw him at the Big Easy Con that year. John Byrne was there that year as well IIRC. Steve not only signed and drew a little doodle in my TPB, but he drew me this awesome sketch on one of the Promo cards that he had at the con. It got some water damage on it when I was  in the process of moving to Los Angeles along with a few comics in one box.
