My story is all by chance. I went to Barcelona to see only Bill
Sienkiewicz, I bought a lot of comics at the shops before (one was the
12 of watchmen). When I was in the row for my second Sienkiewicz
sketch, they announced by public-address system that Dave was signing
comics, I didn't know that Dave was in the convention and I ran for the
sign of Dave, by chance I had the 12 of Watchmen that I just have
bought 30 min before. (But I lost my second sketch of Sienkiewicz) :-(
This is the sketch of Sienkiewicz for a friend of mine... my Bill sketch is ugly

The first time I asked him a self portrait and he did me that "thing" :-(
The second time i remembered my mistake with the first sketch and I
said him: "anything you want", and he drew me that "other thing" :-(((
Now I go every day to the psychiatric, and I hope there is not a third sketch.
:-)

Gee, Jose, those look kinda cool to me. I don't have any Bill S. sketches. Also, I take it they were free?

A friend of mine has this amazing sketchbook from the mid-90s. I don't think he's ever scanned any of them in. Here are some highlights:
A one man "jam sketch" by Sergio Aragones that was added to every year, starting with Groo and continuing with Rufferto and the rest of the cast.
Scud, the Disposable Assassin by Rob Schrab
Chakan, the Forever Man by Robert Kraus
The alternate-universe Iron Man that was in that issue of alternate universe creations called "Time Slip" by Guy Davis
Man, I wish I could get him to scan that stuff in!

Jose, you have to watch the "blue pill" references when joking about psychiatry now because we are living in the age of viagra and thanks to all that marketing that is what a lot of people think of when they hear "blue pill".
So now I have a ridiculous image in my head of a distraught crying man on a psychiatrist's couch trying to hide a pill induced erection with a weird Bill Scienckowicz sketch while Dr. Freud writes stuff in a note pad. It's like a Kids In the Hall skit gone wrong.

Yeah, the sketches were free. He draw good sketches, but not for me. :-( (another blue pill)
But I have a Spiderman page inked by Sienkiewicz, so I have a good drawing by him. :-)

Ouch! Are the blue pills viagra? Now I understand why I'm so excited every time I see the sketches. :-)
