Home!

Now let's see, shrink a couple, and post some that nobody has seen anywhere else, unless they peeked in the family album!

Ah, this one started off the 2nd book on Friday.  2 of the older 3 would take turns asking for sketches if we found ourselves next to 2 artists with no lines.  Made for some fun conversations for us and for the artists as they argued over technique and tools of the trade. :)

Gene Gonzalez started the ball rolling with this cute Harley Quinn.  It was unfortunately ruined by another sketch obtained about 30 minutes before we left on Friday.  We were devastated, so we went back to Gene and asked if there was anyway he could do another Harley in the opposite corner if he had time.

He threatened bodily harm to the artist who ruined his sketch, but would give us an all-new, all-different Harley shot.  Gene Gonzalez, he's the man!

Here's Harley, again from Gene Gonzalez, replacing one masterpiece with another.

Awesome Sketches guys!

Hey, if Steven Sadowski is around, I know he has a ton of great sketches to post! ;) I've seen a bunch at the comic bloc.

That's a pretty nifty sketch, even if you can't see Tarantula's feet.

I'm not sure if you're joking Brandon. I think you are, but just in case, that's Iron Fist, dude!

I was joshing.  I just noticed how similar the characters looked in the absence of color (and all Byrne's bandana half-mask characters look alike anyway!).

I finally bought a digital camera. Keep this thread going, I should contribute to it as soon as I buy a memory card to go with it.

I've already posted this and it's not really a convention sketch, it's a comission, but ... golly, I just want to be one of the cool kids.

A gift for my brother the comedian and Captain America fan ...

The Roger Clemens joke is kinda inside, based on a joke in my brother's act about having mismatched action figures as kids so superheroes fought sports figures and such.
