So I was at my local comic shop and another regular costumer that I am an acquaintance of came up to me and asked me what my "Top Ten" comic fight scenes were..
I can think of so many it's not funny..
But I have yet to think of a list..
Do any of you guys got ten you can rattle off ?

Off the top of my head, Superman vs Spider-Man, for so many reasons.

Some of my favorites are the Thing vs the Hulk from F.F. #25 and F.F.#112. I also enjoyed everyone vs Galactus from F.F. #243.

Can't help it but Alpha Flight 6 always stands in my head as a great fight scene. The placement of sound effects and panels did the work so cleverly, it was amazing.

the X Men ...ONE..AT...A...TIME...against Mags in Uncanny #112...just brilliant
on a completely different feel; poor HERCULES massacre in Avengers #274...just so horrific you could feel his pain

That's a great one. And the Thing vs Doctor Doom in FF #40.
But my favorite may be Iron Man vs the Sub-Mariner in TALES OF SUSPENSE #79.

In no particular order -
Superman vs. The Hulk
The Thing vs. The Thing
Spider-Man vs. The Juggernaut
The FF vs. The Inhumans
Prince Namor vs. The Hulk (underwater...while wearing SCUBA gear!)
Everyone vs. Everyone in Secret Wars
Superman vs. Metallo (during JB's run on Superman)
The Wendigo vs. The Hulk and Sasquatch

I like when Squirrel Girl took down Thanos in the GLA Christmas Special just because it was a big fuck you about arguments about power levels. I applaud Dan Slott for his huge cajones.
I sometimes think that Byrne may have been right when he said that Marvel Handbook and Who`s who were bad ideas because they took away some of the mystery of the character`s potential.
