My wife and I used to buy the WWN on a, well, weekly basis. The "photos" were--and still are, I'm sure--hilarious. I remember a story, several years back, about a boy being crushed by his own tuba. If I'm remembering correctly, the picture depicted portly teenager partially swallowed by the tuba. My wife and I clipped out the article/picture, wrote "You're next, Tuba Boy!" and mailed it--anonymously--to a friend of mine who played tuba in the high school band.

To this day, he's still not completely certain who sent him that picture.

My favorite Weekly World News headlines:

WWII Bomber Found on Moon

then a couple of weeks later

WWII Bomber on Moon Mysteriously Vanishes

I really enjoyed the article about Sergio helping out the aliens with his drawings. Richard great coverage on the Tiger-Men, let's hope we can live peacefully with them.

Paul, there's unconfirmed rumors they're trying to muscle into the breakfast cereal racket. Great. ;)

Is there a way to submit material for WWN?

I finally tracked the issue down!  Loved it!  It took some doing - it was the first issue in a long time to sell out at all my local newsagents - either Hitler's ghost has everyone curios, or there are still a few Byrne fans in San Francisco...

The one Saint reminded me of Lex Luthor!

Anyway - Richard - you're going to keep us posted when new JB issues are due out, right?

I missed the issue. By the time I made it to the grocery store
newsrack, they had replaced that issue with the next week's.
Anybody got scans of the art?

That would be the Anti-Saint of Alienation, Lexx.
