Let's be fair his AF run contained some bad stories, but he did introduce a few elements and ideas that were pretty good.

His Atlantis/Namor/Marrina/Avengers tale was a pretty good crossover.

The introduction of Lady Deathstrike had an impact on Wolverine and the X-Men later on.

His issue with Loki, while no masterpiece was fairly decent, and the Sentinels/Mesmero story was good too.

To be frank, I thought Scott Lobdell was one of the single worst writers AF had ever had.

James Hudnall and Fabian Nicieza tried to get the series back to JB's original vision as much as they could.

I just wish that Nicieza hadn't brought back James Hudson.

I agree that Nicieza should not have brought back Hudson. Then he went and killed him again.

That really made no sense.

At the very least under Hudnall and Nicieza the damage that had been done to the team was repaired unfortunately it took nearly 3 years to get the series back on track.

Simon Furman had a fiar crack at it, too.
