Nathan, are you still out here in Hollywood working for Disney?  Ever since you moved here, I've been wanting to grab a brew with you, but you fell off the face of the planet!  FYI, there's a bunch of JBF folk getting together this weekend in Los Angeles.  Check out the sticky thread at the top of this forum for more info. If you're still out here, you're more than welcome to come!

I read this timeline and once again i am saddened by Danger: Unlimited
not taking off when it came out. It was such a fun comic, and had such
potential.

I agree that DU was put out to pasture far too soon.  It was a fun read.

And hello, to Nathan, even though we haven't met.  You must be a great guy to know.

The DU timeline was alot of fun to read.  Thanks for asking for it to be posted.

I forgot how much I liked Danger Unlimited until I read this timeline. I hope
we get to see more Danger Unlimited, Next Men and Babe in the future.

I first got exposed to DU when I found a JB-signed limited-edition hardcover at Powell's Books for next to nothing! Those things were like $100 when they came out!

What a great story. I need to track down the original issues so I can read the Torch of Liberty backups, which were not included in the hardcover.

Depressingly enough, if DU got those sales numbers today (even for issue #4) it'd be doing great!

So, Cal (who might not be Cal) was unconcious for almost a year?

Paul: But why was John looking for a copy?

I had been rereading DU and emailed John some questions about the timeline -- he was looking to send me a copy of it.

Hey Dave!

Yup, I'm still at Disney -- in fact, this is my 10th year! Thanks for the invite this weekend, but I'm afraid I'm pretty booked up with plans already. Maybe another time? :)

Yeah, I have the hardcover too, but I can't figure out why the backups weren't there?
