John M. Burns has been working in comics since the 60s. His work appeared in comics like TV21, Boys' World and Countdown. In Look-in he worked on various tv adaptations including Space:1999, The Tommorrow People and The Bionic Woman. He's also worked on various newspaper strips: The Seekers in The Daily Mirror in the 60s,

a (sadly) short-lived run on Modesty Blaise,
a revival of the famous Jane strip for the Mirror,
Others include George & Lynne and sci-fi strip Danielle.
He's also worked for Dutch publishers (a series called Zetari) and more recently he's done a lot of work for 2000ad, including Judge Dredd and Nikolai Dante.
