I loved this two parter with Aurora and Sasquatch.  It was a fun super-heroic haunted house tale.

Walter is still (again) Sasquatch.  The recent Omega Flight mini was actually pretty good.  A lot better than the Alpha Flight stuff that followed JB's run.

Sasquatch is (was) my favorite "Big" character.

I have already red this issue, but once again not in his full version (thanks again french editor ...). I had never seen Gilded Lily face (without mask) before (beah !)

I remember thinking that Sasquatch looked a bit off on the cover but of course it was all a foreshadow for issues to come.

This was the first ever American comic book which I owned! I'd read a fair number of Marvel UK comics at this stage, but one day my brother (Hi, Mark!) came back from a trip into town and handed me Alpha Flight #21 as a gift. From this point onwards, at the tender age of nine years old, I was hooked on US comics, and in particular the work of John Byrne.

Twenty-four years later, the industry is now my full-time career, and my local comic shop owner still kindly picks out everything JB works on for me. Long may it continue!

Another  favorite. Bikini Aurora, Gilded Lily, lovely cape effects on Snowbird. I was watching the Paul Craig Russell-like smoke effects on the cover and SHAME ON ME I just only now noticed the smoke Byrne signature! I'm so blind sometimes.

Must be hard to have to research all the latest in women's wear so that everything is correct.  Tough work, but someone has to do it!

Best thing about this issue is how hungry it left me for more on Snowbird.  It was clear something big was coming, and Sasquatch was part of it.

I only noticed it when YOU pointed it out.  Neat!

I've actually had people ask me if I didn't sign that cover because I thought
it was so bad.

I like the cover!  A tad deceptive regarding what lies inside, but as I recall, there was a reason for that.  And btw... I didn't notice the signature in the smoke, either.  Pretty cool.
