I'd always thought as much.

••

Ha! That's what they all say! Next you'll be telling us you always knew
Kodos killed Heather's parents!

Wanda Langkowski?

This odd and pervasive sentiment -- Hey, I got turned into a woman, and
I'm okay widdit!
-- is what I addressed when I had one of the Headmen
get his noggin transplanted onto a clone of She-Hulk's body.*

*And where but comics could I ever type that sentence?

I will admit that this sounds like it could be fun for at least a couple of hours....

although in the end I don't think I would be OK with it.

1.  Always enjoyed the skeleton on the attack.
2.  Wolverine would take it out quickly in "real life".
3.  The contributor names on the tombstones are excellent!
4.  Someone, with more disposable cash than I, needs to commission the 'true' splash page for AF #29.

"And, yes, that is precisely what I intended. Memory becomes dream."

---

Very cool....I leaned along those lines, since I couldn't see Heather just imagining Northstar being such a twit to her. Though I guess I was surprised that Snowbird wasn't there as her Anne McKenzie alter-ego.

All I know is that JoeQ killed AF inbetween panels in the Avengers

Now, let's be fair...Bendis killed them off in between Avengers panels.

After all, can't have any nasty ol' action cluttering up the panels jammed full of word balloons.

erm - wonder if that would be a fun project with someone with tons of cash (HINT HINT ARI) - have JB do, you know, splashes for the "next issue" of all the books he left.  Man, that would be something to see!

(HINT HINT ARI)

Hey, Ari!  Do you own a coal mine?

BTW, Ari is a great guy and a true lover of comics art.  When I was at my old job, Ari would send me eMails asking about my commission and what else was on my horizons.  He too is one of the good guys.  Happy New year, Ari!

Real solid issue. Loved the dream sequence. Just panel-to-panel. No words. Liked how Shaman was keeping Smart Alec in his bag. Enjoyed the relationship between Judd and Michael. Getting stronger all the time. Loved the speech by Heather near the end of the issue.

I was still under the shock of Guardian's death. And the whole opening sequence really hit me hard.

It was really different than the usual Super-Heroes stuff. It was brilliant and it was getting better and more intense.

Kudos for this !
