I resisted doing an ALPHA FLIGHT book because I felt I had little to say with them, and when I read the "collected works" I see what looks to me like a whole lot of thrashing about, very much in support of that statement.

This got me thinking -- QUESTION to JB --- JB, did you write the death of Guardian out of the "thrashing around" for good storylines for AF - or - were you hoping it would solidify the book/characters for the next chapters of the series ?

Sorry -- I searched the FAQs for "guardian" but not "alpha flight" before asking that question -- it is kinda answered in the FAQs

Josh, I remember my Alpha Flight shirt. It was yellow with the image from Marvel Age #2. Loved that shirt. Wore that one and my black one with the Fantastic Four logo all the time.

I forgot the most important part of this issue for me. What really prompted me to buy it? Of course the cover. It immediately mesmerized me. Loved seeing Guardian facing a slew of bad guys. I had no clue who they were. A fantastic cover.

We CAN do a decent-lenged JBFRC:AF thread that isn't about where you-know-who put his you-know-what.  Hooray!
