Again, sideways so they fit better.

Tho the second one kinda "reads" that way, too!

While both are terrific I really like the dynamics of the second one. Very unusual composition but very effective and please don't take this as an underhand insult, a masterful use of negative space.  Bravo.

Oh man.......absolutely gorgeous work, John.  If I may be so bold to ask......are these for board members, and if so who might the lucky stiffs be?

One day......one day.   **sigh**

As with Wayne's piece posted in another thread, I will
let the "lucky stiffs" identify themselves, if they want to
(or can!).

****

Not sure why you'd think I'd be insulted by that!
Negative space is just as much a part of the
composition as the areas with ink on 'em! (Ask
Frank Miller and Mike Mignola!)

Ugh.  JB to be given free reign on Fantastic Four, please.  Give me one year of JB on that title again and I will die happy.

Well, I said in the previous thread that when I was a kid I was not a regular
FF reader, but still I could not resist trading for FF#243 back then. Well,
FF#260 was the second FF issue I traded. The FF/Tyros/Doom/Surfer battle
was just that good to my young eyes to pass up.

Oh, and "F#!$%king great pieces!"

Stunning pieces. I prefer your FF 'now' to your FF
'then'! I hope someone from Marvel sees these!!

Wow, great pieces, both of them!

If my memory serves me well then there is a "deliberate mistake" in the second one. Anybody else spot it?
