My horoscope from today’s Chicago Sun-Times:

“You're in a very strong position today. This means that bosses from your past or authority figures you haven't seen for a while (including parents) might help you, especially in financial matters. You might see ways to boost your earnings or get a better-paying job.” [emphasis added]

My mother and father have been dead for more than a decade.

I mean, ghosts helping you financially is no less likely than Astrology.

Past bosses? Marvel/DC?
You might have some residuals coming soon.

Last time one of those showed up it netted my Dad a title.

I think that may have exhausted the quota!

Today’s Sun-Times:

“You’ll enjoy talking to others, especially bosses, parents and people in authority. In turn, they will be happy to talk to you. In fact, someone might want your advice about how to make something look more attractive — be it a garden or a webpage.”

Again with the walking dead!

Although, since both of my parents mortal remains were cremated, I am not sure how mobile they would be in their present forms.

What's with the authority-figures obsession as well?

Have you often read your horoscope as much as you have this week, JB?

I would have bet you avoid it as a waste of time— how does it get onto your
radar?

I go through phases of horoscope reading, strictly for amusement.

This week has actually been more often than usual.

Knowing that the constellations are out of alignment, due to precession, I like to compare Cancer with my “real” sign, Gemini.

I'm a Gemini, but ultimately it's just a load of old Castor and Pollux.
