JB, is that a caricature of you at the bottom right corner?

Yup. That was also meant to be Chris behind me.

Love that guy’s line, “He’s headed toward the Baxter Building!” How in the world would anybody be able to tell that?

Was the promo for Epic magazine something that was added to the page?

Hmmm... Carl, Irv and Michael could have received more shine if Jim Shooter's "Grandeur" didn't have to be recognized. Not only are the three of them crammed into a single box, but we don't get their last names either.

Sorry, I don’t understand the question.

Next to the Where there Be Gods copy is a billboard that I'm assuming is an ad for or referring to Epic Magazine, but it looks like it was overlayed on to the page. I guess I should have asked did you draw the billboard JB?

Ha ha! Yep! There's a similar line in KING KONG
where the guy on the radio says something like "Kong is
heading towards the Empire State Building".

One of the biggest traps into which writers can sometimes fall is imbuing their characters with knowledge they really shouldn’t have. Knowledge that only the readers/viewers should have.

Sometimes, as on that FF page, it can be in the form of clumsy exposition, but it’s also what leads to everybody knowing Superman has a secret identity.

(A kind of flip side of this phenomenon is when characters tell each other things they already know, as the writer takes the easy way with that exposition again.)

I've seen that EPIC image. It looks like it wasn't cast into the perspective of the billboard (the tagline "The Next Plateau" was). Probably a slightly strange billboard if seen head on.

Your Sue was so distinctive from the beginning.  Gorgeous.
