Agreed, Eric. Roy Thomas simply couldn't stop connecting characters with the same last name. And practically every issue of ALL-STAR SQUADRON had a parallel Earth crossover -- very clearly contradicting the idea that "Flash of Two Worlds" was the story that depicted the very first time that a hero of one Earth had "vibrated over" to another Earth.

The 1970s Kirby Sandman did appear in a Justice League annual pre-Crisis and made an honorary member so he was at least Earth-1. Given his residency in the dream dimension, it's possible he crossed to other worlds as well.
