Gives me a tiny itch to ink a page or six of ELSEWHEN, somewhere down the road.

Wow - so looking forward to this! I've been missing your inking!

It occurred to me, with regards to yesterday's page, all Kurt has to do to avoid Arch-Angel is teleport any direction other than forwards...

I thought Nightcrawler was staying just ahead of Arch-Angel to frustrate him. That may be me reading too much into it though.

Me too ! It is truly a huge privilege to see Mr. Byrne deploy all his talents here on this fan fiction.

In addition, we are fortunate this month in France to have the release of an Omnibus of Alpha flight and the publication in February of the second volume of Next Men (which I consider to be one of the masterpieces of work of JB).

Surprised-Storm at the top has a slight Paul Smith feel to her for me, not sure I've ever 'seen' that in any Byrne art before. Probably just me, or the cut near her cheek bone. Smith had a sort of plasticity in his style, maybe due to the animation background.

JB, your inks on Trio and Triple Helix were the best of your career! I would love to see how you approached some of these pages.

Iceman V Iceman - that's cold!

I agree with Mark about your inks on TRIO and TRIPLE HELIX - fantastic work.
It would be great to see some ELSEWHEN inks, although I am still strongly in
favor of the pages first being presented as pencils for this series. It's amazing
to see your work in this format.

Getting to see more of the original X-men is SUCH a dream come true!

Thank you Mr. Byrne!

100 times over, ELSEWHEN seems more legitimate to me than Marvel canon at this point. The characters are their real and true selves.

JB, when you've inked your own pencils in the past have they ever been as detailed as those on Elsewhen?
