JB, "Iron Fist" #8 is the issue that features your first appearance as a comic book character in a Marvel comic series. You may have mentioned this before in some interview, but since I can't recall that information, can you tell us if the other victims of the gang in this splash page were also based on real people you knew? Thanks!

My “date” was imaginary—and idealized—but the others were friends from Calgary.

BTW, I am guessing the older cop here is Detective Fish from "Barney Miller". Is that correct?

Which is the answer to the riddle, "How many Dadaists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?"

Cool! Abe Vigoda! He was in the Godfather as well.
There were creator cameos in Iron Fist #15 also. It would fulfill many people's idle fancies to be mentioned in, or appear in, a comic book.

The cameos you mention, Rebecca, are JB, Chris Claremont, and Dave Cockrum, with Paty Cockrum and Bonnie Wilford, at the party in Jean and Misty's apartment.

I read an article about Bonnie a few months back . She was a part of the Necronomicon, wicca, OTO scene in NY in the late seventies early eighties. Sadly she died from cancer a few years back.
