JB definitely has had the Comics Code in mind at least once before... ;)

That so called “meta” page I liken to Duck Amuck more than anything.

Preparing this with comic code in mind adds a certain charm.

I’ve always preferred your more subtle references to some things. They
speak volumes to your talent as a writer and artist.

Hard to imagine a team and family dynamic on the page while also
experiencing explicit and extreme depictions.

Thank you.

Just a note about that "Sensational She-Hulk" issue: It goes for crazy money these days! I guess it's the naked She-Hulk jumping rope, but it averages anywhere from $75 - $100 for an ungraded copy.

JB: "...For those who are interested, I have begun editing the previously posted pages.

Not in chronological order.

And that's all i'm saying!!..."

It gives me a reason to go back over the older installments. Heh.

Mr. Byrne,
Reading your take and seeing your art on the X-Men again is a treat that I never expected. Thank you so much for doing this, you have transported me back to a time when my love for comic books and these characters was a joyful and untarnished experience. I am truly loving reading the X-Men again thanks to you. It's been a long time.

Great conclusion to this story...And now what I'd really hate to read about is encounters with Alpha Flight ! (Never give the fans...)

Concerning Colossus's leg I admit to missing the info on how he even got hurt in the first place...I had to go back in the issues to find how and when it happened. I'm glad this is over too...

It's not exactly *over* though-- there is the matter of sorting out Kitty's situation.

That just makes me sad.

It's those people who collect skipping rope covers, like the 'infinity' cover and the injury to eye cover collectors... yeah, that's what it must be...
