Thursday,10/29

  • Falcons at Panthers - No faith in the former dirty birds.  That and the Panthers have exceeded expectations in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year.

Falcons at Panthers - Here's what the season has taught me: if I pick them to win, the Falcons will lose.  If I pick them to lose, they will win.  So I must apologize to my frenemy Matt, and especially to the Carolina Panthers organization, for the L - but I am too many games behind.  My hand is forced.

Hi all, week 7 report :
Eagles narrowly
Lions in another Falconesque loss
Browns in a meaningfull divisionnal but Bengals are
improving
Packers easily against a weak D
Saints as close as NFC Divisionals always are
Bills as close as div etc...
WFT...OMG Dak was hiding so much...
Cards for Seattle's 1st loss...Wilson's magic hit a
ceiling with 3INT
Chiefs easily
49rs...OMG Pats romped at home...nothing is
functionnal in such a Pats way. Division is
lost...seems Brady is wining the game against Bill.
What a mess this team has so quickly become.
Bucs firing on all cylinders...see aboie
Steelers in another Titans must-see !!! Steelers
looked like a perfect machine in 1st hale...Titans
D like a saloon's door (11/15 3rd down
allowed)...then...they once again refused to
lose..until Gostkowski stole us a huge OT.
Pittsburgh remain undefeated but humans
Chargers on weak Jaguars
More balanced Rams against a D runned short Chicago

Week 7 JBF Challenge :
Brian Floyd wins alone with 11-3
Matt Reed and I follow with 10-4
John Popa and James Johnson 9-5
Rick Senger, Kevin Hagermann and Doug Centers 8-6
Rich Marzullo and Kevin Brown 7-7
No picks from Paul Kimball ?

Overall ranking :
I keep the lead at 73-31 after back-to-back-to-back
10-4. Now 2 games ahead of
John Popa and Brian Floyd's 71-33 ans 71-32
3 games on my frenemy Rick Senger and Matt Reed at
70-34
James Johnson is 6th with 65-39
Rich Marzullo and Kevin H 7th with 64-40
Paul Kimball (are you still with us ? news ?) still
9th despite his missed week at 62-28
Doug Center is 10th with 61-43
Kevin Brown 11th with 60-44

Falcons at Panthers : I feel the same Kevin ! And a
divisional on top of that...at least wave Ryan or
somebody break his leg to ease our hobby ! Falcons
for the fun.

Patriots at Bills : this is it...changing of the
guard. Sorry Bill, I take the Bills.
Titans at Bengals: that's not Steelers D...Titans
rebound
Raiders at Browns : Browns need this one for a 3
playoffs team Div.
Colts at Lions : I like Rivers-Stafford shootouts
especially in domes...Colts need to catch up with
Tennessee
Vikings at Packers : always the same story...Packs.
Jets at Chiefs : Kevin, what would you grant for
the upset of the...decade ? Chiefs of course
Rams at Dolphins : I want to see this game...and
Fitz back after Tua is trampled by 99. Rams
Steelers at Ravens: wow fierce. Red flags in
approach. Rested Ravens.
Chargers at Broncos : Chargers.
Saints at Bears : I don't trust them, Foles
included.
49ers at Seahawks : wow. Home team off a
heartbreaking loss against the shorthanded one
Cowboys at Eagles : I won't pick the Cowboys ever
again this year...even against the Jets.
Buccaneers at Giants : Bucs best (points) offense
in the NFL...Bucs
