don't: Steelers. Would love to be wrong though

Seahawks at Dolphins: Seahawks
Jaguars at Bengals (CAT FIGHT): Jags
Browns at Cowboys. My upset pick: Browns
Vikings at Texans; Vikings
Giants at Rams Rams

Broncos : run Sam, run
Saints : nice place to be back at 2-2
Colts : I take Rivers over Foles
Cardinals: Murray owe me one
Ravens
Steelers seem unsinkable
Buccaneers : there is an opportunity on this
Division
Seahawks : another Wilson masterclasd
Bengals: 1st shot in the win column
Browns : close one. My upset, Browns need this find
of win, D is never far from a crisis. Shootout
Texans need this one
Rams landslide
Bills : ok, I join this bandwaggon
Chiefs : game of the week. I predict slow play from
Belichick to diminish Mahomes'possessions...picking
Chiefs..Kelce will be the difference
49ers
Packers, sorry Matt you had chances to avoid 0-4 in
the previous 3 games.

Thursday,10/01

Broncos at Jets Every dog has its day and this may be the only week of the year I take the JETS thanks to untested Brett Rypien starting for an already toothless Denver offense. Phil disagrees!

Sunday,10/04

Saints at Lions SAINTS D looks vulnerable and the Lions surprised last week but Brees' parted out offense still works.
    Colts at Bears COLTS
    Cardinals at Panthers CARDINALS
    Ravens at Football Team RAVENS
Steelers at Titans Two 3-0 teams but Tenn has COVID concerns and I just believe more in the STEELERS, even on the road.
Chargers at Buccaneers If you'd told me Brady would be in first place and a game up on the Saints while playing for a team that was sub-.500 in 8 of the past 9 years and only 9-7 in that one "up" year back in 2016, I'd have been pleasantly surprised but not shocked. Ditto for LA being 0-2 in their shiny new $5 billion stadium (except for the pleasant part). Brady hasn't looked that great nor the lightning bolts that bad, it just is what it is. BUCS.
    Seahawks at Dolphins HAWKS
Jaguars at Bengals Bengals have nearly the worst rushing offense and rushing D in the league. They also have the 3rd best passing D and a respectable Burrow pass attack. Jags are just middling across the board but I like Minshew. Bengals have burnt me twice already so because I'm totally ambivalent about these two mediocrities, JAGS. Phil disagrees!
Browns at Cowboys COWBOYS have to win to build up hopes before their inevitable downfall. Phil disagrees!
Vikings at Texans TEXANS because of too many questions in Minnesota.
    Giants at Rams RAMS
    Bills at Raiders BILLS
Patriots at Chiefs I want to be loyal but despite the MNF score the Chiefs on the road dismembered an excellent Ravens team last week that is arguably similar to NE only better. CHIEFS at home, unfortunately.
    Eagles at 49ers NINERS

Monday,10/5

Falcons at Packers PACK should run away with it at home but somehow I'm nervous about this one.

Three disagrees, a couple "obvious" picks but plenty of good matchups (many crap games could be close.)

Steelers/Titans won't play Week 4 and has been moved TBD after two more positive tests for COVID.

Don't like this game at all.  Don't even think I'll watch it on mute on the 2nd TV.

Thursday,10/01

  • Broncos at Jets - Coin flip game between two really bad teams.  I think the Jets are the worst team in the NFL and Gase should be fired if he can't beat the lowly Broncos at home for their first win.

I actually think Darnold is a decent QB but the jets are just so disgusting who
can tell?
