Just found out about this, myself. Shocked doesn't even belong to
describe it. Thoughts go out to his family.

After BLACK PANTHER was released, I recall thinking that Boseman looked rather thin during interviews, junkets and other Marvel premieres, but thought maybe he was "just" ill or perhaps intentionally losing weight for a current role.  Never even occurred to me to think cancer.

Shocking and sad... hopefully there's some solace for his family, knowing he'll be immortal for legions of fans, young and old.

T'Challa forever...

Shocked.

So young and talented.

Hard to believe and assimilate, similar feelings as when Heath Ledger passed. He made his mark and will live forever in the memories of fans around the world.

RIP

My wife and I just finished Black Panther when I dove into social media and saw the news.  I think my unbidden exclamation pretty well sums it up: holy fucking shit.

This one hurts.

Shocking -- really, just hard to believe. 42 made me a fan. Black Panther made him a legend. And now... gone.

Dave, your exclamation pretty much sums it for me, as well.

Shaun, pictures of him skinny popped up on TMZ months ago, and it was assumed by a lot of people that he lost the weight for a movie role. Much like Christian Bale did for THE MACHINIST.

R.I.P.

I am completely gobsmacked by this news.  As Peter said, 42 made me a fan of his.  It's mainly because of him that I think Black Panther is the best Marvel movie.

It's rare that actor deaths actually bring me to tears, but this one did.
