Good way to describe it.

I especially liked the absence of the self-consciousness that has dogged all the TREK iterations that followed TOS.

I was actually referring to the fact that the first episode was available for
free on YouTube, but only in the US. While I do have the ability to buy
the channel, Iím hardly going to do it sight unseen for one show. Too
many Star Trek disappointments of late.
