Movies featuring completely CGI actors that don't really exist? Meh. I'm cold to that idea.

I could see CGI used to extend actors' careers, by using it to make younger versions of them (or that smoothing techinique) andf the actor doing voice work, but it would be quite expensive. GEMINI MAN was a good start, but they clearly needed to spend more time and money on the younger version of Will Smith.

Could even see it being used in a situation where an actor has signed off on the rights for their image and voice to continue being used once they have died.

But I wouldn't want an already deceased actor's estate to sign off on it as a money grab.

Here's an amusing alternative:
Someone used the "Reface" app that's popular now to map Adam Hughes "Cover Run" Catwoman art onto a real face.
It appears to be built on Adult Film Star Tori Black from the "Porn Parody" that that went to some lengths to get the costumes right.
