This little guy was pretty inexpensive... but incredibly hard for me to find...

You clearly have an impressive and extensive collection, Nathan. Looking forward to seeing any gems you'd be kind enough to share from those sketchbooks. Pretty amazing to have books of original stuff.

Is that 'Lollapaloosa' to do with the music festival or something else entirely?

Hands down this piece is now one of my favorite things that JB has ever done. I absolutely love it. Congrats on owning it, William!

Just realized that soldier is one of the earliest examples of what is now a go-to move for meóto fill the most space on the page, have the figure seated.

Thinking, now...

Since that soldier drawing is dated 1972, it was done after my 21st birthday trip to New York, where I met a flock of professional artists, including Neal. So my style there represents the transition period between trying to be Frank Bellamy and trying to be Neal Adams.

Love seeing these, keep 'em coming guys!

I do wonder what the sparsest mass produced piece is?

The rarest I have is probably the FF CD-ROM comic. Though for all I know, everyone here has that.

I don't know exactly what its availability was at the time, but my copy of 2112 is a black pleather hardcover with the title embossed that I only have because it was the one in stock at the local shop "back in the day."  That is to say, I'm not any kind of collector or completist, and had there been any other way to read it I would have gone that route.
