This holds more appeal than all the others because those ten years before Kirk and co. is the most interesting unexplored area short of finding a way to de-age the entire TOS crew and do more of their missions.

This was inevitable, based on the fan reaction to them
in S2 of Discovery, but it's still awesome news all the
same. Couldn't be more excited!!

The video announcing it on Twitter featuring Mount,
Romijn, and Peck was really sweet.
