Tom Brevoort posted these on his FB page and CBR had them on their site.

I’ve seen the Rog one before but not the other one.
If Rog had been used in a published story by Marvel, would Marvel now own him?

I didn't worry about stuff like that, back then. Just thought it would be fun to have a ROG avatar (note, his name is ROGER, there) in SHE-HULK.

If only to remove the logo! Why they didn't reduce it slightly, so that it didn't intersect with Jen's head and make her look like she's pushing it thru the bars...Too much like doing their job, right?

If Marvel had claimed ownership of Roger Robot, it would have felt lind of like that whole thing with the Rich Buckler Demonslayer character, who seemed to exist at a few different publishers under different names. Demon Hunter was one, at the Seaboard-Atlas, and another version was published in an underground type comic.
JB, was there any work done on the interiors to these issues?

Forgive my ignorance, but can anyone explain the significance of the date Dec. 4 1986? Just yesterday, I was looking through a database of original comic art and saw that same date on a cover and thought it was weird because I knew there was no way that it could have represented the date the cover was drawn. Then, an hour or two later, I saw the same date again on the border of another cover while doing an unrelated search--that really struck me as odd. And now I see it again here. Obviously it's not a coincidence, right? Maybe this is something that most comic art fans know about, but I'm clueless. Can anyone help?
