I've found April fools' Day pretty lame for the last 10 years or so. It has become mostly a bunch of lazy fake news stories and press releases that are less funny than the average story from The Onion.

The few exceptions that I looked forward to were the fake products from the now-defunct ThinkGeek and whatever prank feature Google added to their products.

ThinkGeek isn't completely defunct. They just sell some of their items through GameStop rather than their own stores and website now. But sadly, hardly any of those items are anything I'd actually want.
