Anybody watching this show? I love listening to all these
classic songs. It is like Glee, but less contrived and
better choreography.

Love this show. Been a fan of Jane Levy since SUBURGATORY. Plus choreography from Mandy Moore (the other one) of LA LA LAND fame. And Skylar Astin from PITCH PERFECT. Zoeys scenes with her mom and dad tend to get to me.

Had to search a little, but found it on CTV her in Canada. I'll give it a try.

We're watching it regularly. It's quite fun, really nice singing, and excellent choreography. It's rather bittersweet, and the numbers are usually pretty fun. The wife and I find it easily entertaining enough to watch weekly... and we're a bit stingy with our TV time because there is SO much content. A show has to be pretty good to get on our list... and Zoey is.

EDIT: Steve C., we get it on NBC at 9:00. So if you have an NBC affiliate, you should be able to find it easily.

Only do OTA and sometimes catch what is streamed from local broadcast channel sites.

It is kind of strange in my house. I watch a show without phone or iPad to distract me. So, I am drawn to intricate shows with nuances and details requiring my attention. While my family plays games or surfs with their handhelds. They want something light and carefree. Maybe Zoey is both.

This last episode had a particularly moving scene at the
end with Zoey singing "How Will I Live?" to her dad.

That scene was hard to watch.

The "Pressure" part was fun, though.

There's almost nothing in the description of this show (or even the trailers) that would make me or anyone who knows me think I would like it. But I REALLY like it. The cast is talented, the lead (Jane Levy) is appealing, the scripts are thoughtful, it's surprisingly funny, and of all things, I really dig the choreography. Many of the performances are also presented in a single take, which is super-impressive in general but extra-impressive on a TV show.  Only up through episode four (was waiting to get my wife on board before plowing through), but we'll probably be caught up by Sunday.

The final number with American Pie done in a single take was so good. This show consistently has me laughing out loud and tearing up in the same episode.

I wonder how many takes they had to do to get it right.

I hope the show gets another season.

I note with some optimism that they were advertising it as a season finale, not a series finale or even just 'finale,' full stop.
