I'm a teacher in Ohio. Today will be the last day with kids for a while. I have some ideas for distance learning I need to get together. I teach K-4 art. No one is sure what is going to happen. Making this up as we go.

I work in a walk-in, urgent care clinic full time and a primary care
doctor’s practice part time. I’ll be dead by June.

NO!! You just walked into a whole bunch of nothing! A
friend from work is on her honeymoon vacation at Spring
Training - they cannot be pleased.

I was so excited for MLB that I have been gobbling up
grapefruit games on the Dodgers station. I'm glad I got to
catch a few games on TV before it postponed.

Working in retail it`s business as usual, but people are
clearing the shelves of toilet roll and bottled water.
We have very good water on tap in the UK, so i cannot
understand it. Nor the hoarding of toilet roll. My
friend in Australia tells me the toilet roll panic
buying is worse there.
We do have anti-bac hand gel at the doors, but i heard
that in other stores, the dispensers have been ripped
off the wall and taken, and instances of customers
decanting the gel into empty jars they brought with
them! Gotta love the human race!

"Nor the hoarding of toilet roll."

...

Lemming mentality at work. See someone with a cart full of TP and figure "I must get my share!"
Wouldn't a shower work much like a bidet. TP would be one of the least things to worry about if it came down to it.
Some companies stocks must be doing ok during this.

And the worst part to this horrid irony is that these are all GOOD things in treating this disease, and keeping it from killing thousands and tens of thousands. Actions that seem like overreactions are all occurring in good time and promptly.

It seems crazy, it seems panic-stricken, but it's actually logical (except for statements from the American Administration.)

I foolishly stopped by the grocery store on the way home yesterday. It was bumper-to-bumper in there, with people wearing masks and an old lady intermittently screaming, "You're all gonna die anyway! You're all gonna die!"

Have to pick up a prescription from CVS, so I’ll probably check the grocery store.

I worry, of course, because forty plus years of working at home, alone, has left me with virtually no immune system. I can catch a cold over the phone!
