This is a profoundly bad idea.

Same way “they” didn’t see the flaw in New Coke, DARK PHOENIX and the Edsel.

Are we disagreeing with ad, which is kinda gross, but
interesting or removing the preservatives? McDonald's
did to their burgers in 2018 and their sales still went
up. I think consumers want less artificial ingredients
in foods.

Consumers definitely THINK they want fewer artificial preservatives, but this might be a time to remember what Stan Lee said about giving the customers what they THINK they want.

There’s too much bad science confusing people. (Remember saccharine?)

People want healthier food, with preservatives removed,
but showing the food decomposing is not very attractive,
whoever signed off that advert must be insane!

It is interesting when reporters asked which ingredients
they were removing, the company didn't respond. Maybe
some of the additives aren't that good for people.

What Bill said. I rarely eat at BK, though it would be nice to know that they are removing artificial preservatives - but I don't think that showing me a moldy Whopper is going to get be through the door any quicker!

*typo - removing, not preserving!

On the one hand, it's got people talking about BK. And
when you get a fresh-looking burger in the restaurant
now, you know it's fresh.

On the other, yeah, not an appealing look.

Still, compare and contrast:

“In the right environment, our burgers, like most
other foods, could decompose,”

-- Anne Christensen, Director of Field Brand
Reputation for McDonald’s, speaking last month.

Could. Maybe. In the right environment.

Where are the studies that show that food without preservatives are healthier that foods with?  What is the scientific proof that “all natural” is healthier?  Cobra venom is all natural.  This is just the left’s version of anti-science.  It is no better than climate change denial on the right.
