Killed in traffic accident.

Among other things, the voice of Bilbo Baggins in the 1977 TV version of THE HOBBIT.

And you could get hit by a car walking down the street... something I've heard people say many times. :^(

I remember him being on Match Game in the '70s a fair amount.

He did a one man show about his life, and I believe it's free on YouTube. Pretty fascinating stuff. He was a really accomplished raconteur. He's done a number of podcast appearances in the last few years, particularly Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast and a two-parter on Dennis Miller's, that were chock full of hilarious stories.

Coincidentally I just saw the Denzel Washington Equalizer 2 movie and he had a pretty great small part in it.

His TONIGHT SHOW appearances were among my favorites. Antenna TV has
been showing old Carson shows, and I have been able to revisit his
appearances in the last few years - a great storyteller and a wonderful spirit.

It was a great surprise when he showed up in BEING John Malkovich.

I very much enjoyed his voice talent as Bilbo. He will be missed.

His stories of old Hollywood and such were hysterical. He occasionally guested on a favorite radio talk program and told the best tales. The program later went into the realm of podcasts where Mr. Beanís stories gained a portion of saltiness that made the stories even funnier. RIP, sir.
