Our household thoroughly enjoyed the trials and tribulations of the Rose Family. Hope you enjoy the ride, Matt!

I second other Forum members that remark on how well character development is handled, this strikes me as a very humanistic exploration of the "Small Town / Fish Out of Water" story. (Also like others, Chris Elliot's character is easily my least favorite)

The ticks and personalities of the bonkers quartet kept me coming back, and some of the jokes are so quickly delivered (or the emoting / reaction shots so crazily expressed) rewatching certain scenes became the norm.

I'm a tremendous This is Spinal Tap fan, and my wife and daughters love Best in Show. We don't yet quote SC to the same degree of BiS but the refrains and catchphrases continue to provide giggles long after the credits have rolled.

It's funny, I STARTED watching because Chris Elliot was in it. Sure, he's always "Chris Elliot-ish" in all his characters but he's under-used in stuff so I'm glad to see him.

As I progress with the show I'm impressed with the show's ability to layer in depth in characters that seemed UTTERLY shallow at the start (Alexis and David, I'm looking at you).

Also, Eugene Levy's eyebrows deserve an Emmy. (I sometimes wonder if they are prosthetic...)
