Yup. I never liked him in his "final form" (X-Force, Youngblood), even as a kid/teen when I was supposed to like him.

But... I do remember reading his "Hawk & Dove" run and noticing him and remembering his name thinking he was pretty good. Years later I found out Liefeld delivered some very loose pencils and it was actually Karl Kesel that inked and practically re-drew the whole thing. 

But he must've had that hard to describe "something" for me to remember that.
