The article was nice, but a couple of relatively minor nitpicks about it:

Though the author of the piece claims he had just recently went back and reread the JB run on FF,  he somehow already forgot that the Thing being reverted back to his older, lumpy appearance and later restored to his rocky appearance all happened during JB's run:

"...Prior to Byrne taking over the title Ben had been returned to his first state as the Thing, when he looked more like molten rock rather then the Thing we came to know...."

The writer also mentions that Doctor Doom had been dethroned since the anniversary issue #236 before regaining rulership of Latveria some issues later, but Doom had lost his kingdom in issue 200.

Ever think living in Canada back in the 70s that you would one day have a postage stamp with your work on it?

My last Father's Day Card was the Man of Steel #1 shirt popping open image. I wondered at the time if JB would get a residual, and then thought "probably not".

Might have been one of those $00.01 royalties buried in a 14 page statement!

This is a big tell that he didn't read the whole run - it's
such a significant element. It's great to experience
individual issues, but there is much reward in reading JB's
run in its entirety starting with 232 ("Back to the
Basics," which also got a "True Believers" reprint
recently).

Yeah, Matt, that bit about the Thing stood out when I
read the review as well. If memory serves, it was in 238
that Reed turned him all lumpy-bumpy again.Kind of a
masterclass in how to switch things up to keep them
interesting -- but not let it last too long. Having the
Thing revert to an earlier, more monstrous form was
pretty cool, but I appreciate that JB returned things
back to the standard model in just over half a year.
