I'm not one to call for spinoffs, but the Master dwelling on Earth for 70 years is a bit intriguing.

Which of these are good ideas, and which too fannish?

When the Doctor and her gang (she has a gang now) leave him, the Master is being hunted by the Nazis, and still hunted as a Nazi. (Any story involving the Master should be to some extent illustrating the old saying, "Good will always triumph over evil, because it's nicer." Every hand against him, except maybe one soon-to-be-betrayed ally.)

The Master would probably prefer any captue to be by the least humanitarian side of any conflict. This would delay the time they would check his health, find his two hearts and other biological differences, and realize he needs to be guarded 24/7, strapped to an examination table, in a windowless room, inside a windowless building, under a mountain.

After about 30 or 40 years the Nazi thing would die down. ("You look a lot like old pictures of -- sorry, but you must get that a lot." "Only in government circles; nobody else remembers.")

Pretty much a sequence of the Master failing to rule or escape Earth? Maybe he could repel an alien invasion that is inconvenient to his plans. Not one of the invasions historically seen on Doctor Who.

Ah, the Doctor. Did the Master know the Third Doctor was exiled to Earth? (Is the current understanding that he came to mess with him?) The stranded Master has many good reasons to stay away from both the other Time Lords. A "Back to the Future" background shot? No, if it occurs once, everyone will want it to happen just one more time, and one more time after that...

Hmm... there are three Masters in existence at one point: our stranded one, the one building himself up as spymaster O, and Saxton gaining political power...

One of the mind benders about DOCTOR WHO is that ALL versions of the Master, as well as ALL versions of the Doctor, exist “at the same time”—tho not in chronological order!
