I watched episodes 1 through 7, but it's been a week, and (for some unknown reason) I still don't have any interest in seeing the 8th.

Interesting.  Total opposite for me.  Had to binge it because it was like a book I couldn't put down.  Different strokes.

I think so.

I binged episodes 1-7, and enjoyed them all. It wasn't until the end of the seventh that the tug disappeared. It was somewhat like eating an enjoyable meal, getting close to the end, and realizing I couldn't take the final bite. (It may still serve as a tasty snack later.)

Found the time jumps a little confusing at first but I believe I was supposed to. Ended up enjoying it quite a bit after the 3rd episode.

I've watched this over the past week and found it enjoyable. I knew about the time jump as my brother mentioned it before I started it. there were clues, but not sure I would have picked up on it before it became obvious in episode three.

I think the time jump thing is a little different here to how it was used in Westworld.
Westworld used the time jump as a major mic drop during the last episode, while here, they revealed it in episode three and allowed it to build the story from there. I don't see a time jump being an issue in season 2, while I DO see a time jump being a structure and plot issue for Westworld season 3. That series I think will quickly become tiresome as we get fed up trying to figure out which bit of plot comes first.

Witcher isn't like that. There is a lot more going on to keep the viewer entertained and the plot survives without the time jump.

I enjoyed the characters and there was a decent amount of humour. It was interesting to see the swearing which was used more along the lines that I view swearing actually is used, rather than how films and TV tend to portray it a lot of the time. Here, the swear word is an integral part of the sentence rather than an inserted word where the sentence would remain whole even if the swear word was removed.
I'll be back for season 2.

Matt, I think I need to go back and watch at least the first few episodes again. I definitely liked it, I just felt bombarded with names of people, places, events, etc (typical for early world building, I know. I should be used to it with LotR and GoT, etc) that I need to see them again now that I can wrap my head around it all. I'm also glad I tried this without my wife, she would have been completely lost and walked away, so I probably never would have finished it.

Ive thought about rewatching the first three episodes again too Ryan.
I got list with names, locations etc. In the end I resorted to having a timeline & map permanently open in my browsers so I could flip & check up in things.

In fact, just checking up thread, it was the link YOU provided above, so thanks for that - really appreciated
