Wendigo?? I sort of considered for a moment, from the body, but the head looks so wrong. The image is making my eyes squiffy anyway, but the head looks more like Groot!

You can see the full size image in Marvel's Treasury Edition #5.
I'll give it some time before I give out a hint to that last guy.

Here's a thought: I wonder if that's not Herb Trimpe himself, having drawn himself into the scene...

I love the above illustration because it's pure Trimpe.
We didn't get to see that very often. He had some very.... powerful inkers on The Incredible Hulk (John Severin and Joe Staton to name a couple).

Man, that pin-up reminds me why I really liked Trimpe as a kid.

That's a great illustration!
Yeah, other than a short run in the #180's no pure Trimpe. I thought Trapani kept it close though.
Thanks for posting that video Matt!

Hm. Don’t think I knew Trimpe was left-handed.

When I was reading comics as a younger man, I was not particularly fond of Herb Trimpe's art. It just didn't seem so good.
Cue 35 years later, and I look at that art style and WISH I could find comics that looked that good today!
It's astonishing how much better of an artist Herb got over that span of years. ;)
