The US Supreme Court has agreed to rule on gun restrictions imposed in New York City (even though changes to the regulation have been made.) in the name of public safety and opposed by the NRA.

In addressing this case, the court might take the opportunity to clarify how courts can decide whether gun restrictions are legal or not.

The fact that they took this case even though NYC all but repealed the regulations AND the New York state legislature passed a law prohibiting localities from passing these kinds of laws should send shivers down the spines of gun control proponents.

Trust me, a majority of the court WILL strike these local gun control restrictions down.
